- QIV services can be performed for any new installation, regardless of SEER or rebates.
- This includes ENERGY STAR and non-ENERGY STAR systems.
- Eligibility for QIV commissioning of new units includes residential central AC system installed on or after April 1, 2005.
- Homeowners are able to receive a COOL SMART Certificate once in a five-year period.
- You can ask your contractor to provide QIV services each year, including third-party verification of results, so you enjoy increased system efficiency.
