Once you're ready to participate in the COOL SMART program, contact a participating COOL SMART QIV contractor. You'll know your high-efficiency air conditioning equipment is installed properly, leading to better performance and savings for you.
The contractors listed here have technicians who are trained in Quality Installation Verification (QIV) services. Additionally, some may also be trained in ENERGY STAR Quality Installation (ESQI). You can view each company's capabilities in the directory. New England's limited cooling season is such that these contractors can perform QIV and ESQI services up to their capacity. The performance of QIV services (QIV Commissioning) on new installations is solely at the option of the installing contractor and you must request this service to be sure you receive it.
